You're doing something for your fertility.

But how do you know if it is the right something?

Fertility Essentials replaces scattered research with a clear plan, so you are confident you are doing what you can to increase the chances of conception.

The problem isn't effort. It's direction.

You've cut the coffee. Started the prenatal. Maybe downloaded three different cycle-tracking apps that all disagree with each other. You're genuinely trying — and yet six, eight, twelve months in, you still don't feel confident that what you're doing is actually moving the needle.

That's not a discipline problem. It's an information problem.

Somewhere between the fertility blogs, the supplement ads, and the well-meaning advice from three different people, most women trying to conceive end up with the same feeling: busy, but not confident.

You might recognise a few of these:

  • You've read enough to know cycle tracking matters, but you're not sure you're doing it accurately enough to trust it.
  • You've picked up a few supplements along the way — but no one has explained why those, why now, at what dose.
  • You've made some dietary changes, but you're not sure if they're the changes that actually matter for fertility, specifically.
  • You're aware that stress “affects” fertility, but that's about as far as the advice ever goes.
  • And underneath all of it, a quieter worry: time — the sense that the window to get this right is narrower than anyone likes to say out loud.

None of this is about willpower.

What You Need is a clear plan, created by a Doctor, and backed by science.

Introducing Fertility Essentials

Fertility Essentials

Fertility Essentials is a self-paced online program, built around five foundations. Each one gives you the underlying physiology in plain terms, then a practical, structured way to apply it.

✓ TRACK — Preconception Foundations & Cycle Tracking
Understand your cycle, hormone by hormone, and build one integrated system for identifying your fertile window — combining basal body temperature, cervical mucus, and LH testing, rather than relying on any single method alone.

✓ NOURISH — Fertility Diet & Nutrition
A fertility-supportive way of eating, grounded in the evidence on carbohydrate quality, protein, and fats — built around practical portions and meal planning, not a restrictive list of banned foods.

✓ SUPPORT — Fertility Nutrients & Supplementation
A clear, evidence-informed guide to the supplements most often discussed in fertility care, including which supplements you need, why each one is used, and where the evidence is (and isn't) strong. You'll also get guidance on interactions and safety, and which labs are worth requesting from your provider.

✓ REGULATE — Metabolic Health, Stress & Movement
What “metabolically healthy” means beyond the number on a scale, how the stress response influences ovulation and hormone signalling, and how to build a movement practice that supports fertility rather than working against it.

✓ BALANCE — The Fertility Microbiome
An introduction to one of the more recently understood pieces of the picture: how the gut and reproductive microbiome influence nutrient absorption, immune regulation, and hormone metabolism — with practical, food-based and lifestyle strategies to support it.

Across 44 lessons, you'll work through the physiology first, then the action — building toward your own Preconception Plan by the end of the program, rather than a generic checklist.

Who this is built for

Fertility Essentials is designed for women who are trying to conceive naturally, or who are early in the process of working with a fertility clinic and want to walk into that next step having done the groundwork.

If any of this sounds familiar, you're likely a strong fit:

  • You've been trying for six months or more without a clear sense of why not yet.
  • You've done some research, but it's left you more overwhelmed than confident.
  • You want a structured, evidence-based plan rather than more disconnected tips.
  • You're not currently following a targeted protocol, and you want to build one properly rather than by trial and error.

This programme is not designed to replace personalised medical care. If you're managing a more complex diagnosis — including significantly diminished ovarian reserve, recurrent pregnancy loss, multiple unsuccessful IVF cycles, or a condition requiring an individualised, closely monitored protocol — you'll be better served by one-to-one clinical care, where your plan can be built and adjusted around your specific history. Fertility Essentials may still support your overall physiology alongside that care, but it isn't positioned as a substitute for it, and it's not intended as a guaranteed remedy for any fertility condition.

What changes by the end.

By the time you finish the five modules, the aim isn't a stack of new information — it's a shift in how you feel about the process:

From guessing to having a plan. From scattered research to a structured understanding of your own cycle, nutrition, and physiology. From wondering whether you're doing enough, to knowing you've built a genuinely evidence-informed foundation — whatever comes next.

Common Questions

"How long does it take to complete?"

Each module is approximately 1–2 hours of content across 6–8 lessons. Most people complete the course over 5–8 weeks, working through one module at a time. There is no deadline, the course is self-paced and you can revisit any lesson as many times as you need.

“I don't want to end up on a pile of unnecessary supplements.”

That's exactly what Module 3 addresses directly — not “take everything,” but which supplements have a genuine evidence base for fertility, at what dose, and how to build a targeted protocol rather than a shelf full of extras.

“I'm already seeing a fertility clinic — is this still useful?”

Often, yes — particularly if you're early in that process. This program is designed to complement clinical care, not replace it. If your situation is more complex, one-to-one care is the better starting point. For those in Ontario, click here to book a free introductory call.

“I don't know where to start. Is this too advanced, or too basic, for me?”

The program is built to work either way. If you're newer to fertility health, each module starts with the fundamentals before building up. If you've already done some reading, the value is in the structure and specificity — connecting what you already half-know into one coherent plan.

“Will this actually make a difference?”

Fertility Essentials is built to support the physiology involved in conception — nutrient status, cycle regulation, metabolic health, and cellular stress — based on the current evidence in these areas. It's not positioned as a guaranteed path to pregnancy, and no reputable program can honestly claim to be. What it can offer is a genuinely structured, evidence-informed way to prepare your body, so that whatever happens next, you know you approached it properly.

A note on what this is — and isn't

Fertility Essentials is an educational program, not a treatment. It's intended to support your understanding of preconception health and to help you build daily habits grounded in evidence — not to diagnose, treat, or guarantee any particular outcome, and it does not establish a doctor–patient relationship with Dr. Murphy. If you have a specific medical concern, or your situation is more complex than general preconception preparation, please speak with your healthcare provider or book a one-to-one consultation.

Dr. Robyn Murphy, ND — registered with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario.
